For our product management team in Marketing, we are looking for a Global Marketing Manager based at our site in Glostrup. You will get the chance to work in a dynamic and energetic marketing team in a diagnostic company on a mission to fight cancer.

The position:
The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for a specific assigned product area/line. This role is responsible for managing the full product life cycle within the Immuno Histo Chemistry (IHC) Business Solution products and services. Included in this is maintenance and development of relationships with key stakeholders in Sales and R&D. This role is further responsible of the whole commercialization of the product area/line and supports commercializing the whole IHC business solution within the 3 regions. As our center of excellence for IHC is located in Glostrup, the Global Marketing Manager for IHC solutions will be located in Glostrup as well.

The role is supported by a Regional marketing team, a Global Marketing Strategic Planning team and a Global Marketing Support team.

Being a team member in the IHC business solution your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Commercialization of the IHC solution

For the commercialization part you will be working closely with sales to define sales forecast and hold Sales accountable for meeting the product area/line respectively the business unit top line forecast per region. You will lead global joint commercialization efforts and committees for product area/line and make sure marketing activities and work to assess the changing market dynamics and competitive environment to maximize sales, market share, and profitability is in place. You should see yourself as the main business partner contact for IHC solution in selected countries and there will be periodically travel with account managers or application specialists/TSRs for full understanding of sales and support needs in field for product line/area. You will have pricing responsibility for our Primary Antibodies and a part of the role will cover profitability of the product offering in conjunction with sales or pricing campaigns run by sales teams and launch of new products or campaigns. A major part of this role will focus on supporting sales with tools,
  • Product Lifecycle Management

You will engage in strategic planning, life-cycle management, oversight of the product tactical plan, including program development, branding, advertising, and sales support materials. Product Lifecycle Management as the Global Marketing Manager is responsible for monitoring sales, carrying out pruning activities, delivering financial justifications for initiation of new product development projects. Product line responsibility includes global competitor surveillance, tracking of product market shares and profitability as well as development of new reagent/system solution focused support activities and tools. Based on market trends, customer feedback and sales input the Global Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering specifications for initiation of new development projects.

In the job you will be in contact on an international level with customers and colleagues. Therefore, you can also expect several travel days per year.

Basic Qualifications required for the job
• Commercial and operational experience from prior jobs; having worked in a business focused culture
• Preferably experience from the Health Care industry

Personal competences for the job
• Commercial mindset and ability to drive change
• High drive and focused on creating results (goal oriented)
• Proactive and good at delegating
• Good at setting goals and direction
• Willing to travel between 50-80 days per year to understand the market and customer needs incl. impact of sales tactics
• Good at communicating, motivating, coaching and working with other in cross functional groups

Your profile:
• Master or bachelor degree in science, MBA or similar education a plus
• Min. 8 years of experience with product marketing and/or sales
• Commercial and operational experience from prior jobs; having worked in a business focused culture
• Global mindset and experience from working in an international environment
• Must be fluent in English, oral and written

It will be a plus to have experience from:
• Health Care Industry
• MBA
