For our customer we are seeking a womens fashion Designer.
THE COMPANY
The company is a leading European fashion brand with concept stores in China.
THE POSITION
Main job responsibilities:
- In charge of part / categories of collections for the Chinese market
Responsible for developing sales samples for the brands very trend-conscious women- Pinpoint, visualize and coach up-coming trend info to team members and retail organisations each season
- Close daily cooperation with design manager/creative director
- Cooperate with 20 local and international designers, 30 buyers, and technicians in Beijing
- Cooperate with esign manager and designers in Beijing and our creative director in Amsterdam
- Inspiration and supplier trips in Asia
THE CANDIDATE
Main qualifications:
- Qualified designer, minimum a bachelor’s degree
- Strong knowledge of various product groups and preferably minimum 2 years of experience within
womens fast moving/ trend driven fashion - Dedicated to a high level of design, trend driven and a high standard of quality and workmanship
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
- Familiar with Illustrator, PhotoShop, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint
- Innovative, dynamic, and business-minded
- Organisation talent, management potential
- Positive, adventurous, and strong personality
- Strong sense of fast moving trends and tendencies targeted women aged 20-30
- An interest in Chinese culture and society is a plus.
- Willingness to live in China
