Reporting to: IT Application Operations team leader
Job overview: • Responsible for continuous operation and maintenance of BSS IT Applications in EMEA region.
Key responsibilities and deliverables:
• Responsible for handle the BSS Ecosystem related Trouble Tickets. Determines the jurisdiction of the tickets, accepts the ticket, rejects the tickets and forwards the ticket to the responsible person or group.
• Responsible for keep the Trouble Tickets up-to-date.
• Responsible for close the tickets and document the solutions
• Provide data to external/internal report seekers
• Operate and maintain the BSS Ecosystem
• Responsible for manage of the system configurations
• Responsible for tracking and management system problems, troubleshooting
• Participation in publishing automation and integration of continuous integration tools and platforms
• Monitor the alarm management for BSS Ecosystem and underlying data
• Develop and maintain the operating- and system documentation
• Is acquainted and applies the ITIL processes
• Capable to give On-Call Duty
• Take part in the expansion of the knowledge-base
• Responsible for system related maintenance tasks
Key performance indicators To be defined in cooperation with the IT Application Operations team leader
Requirements:
• University or college degree preferable from Telecommunication/IT/Computer Science/Engineering area
• Experience in system operation and maintenance of Red Hat Linux systems
• Experience in system operation and maintenance of MySQL systems
• Familiar with WEB middleware technologies, including the management of Tomcat, Jboss and other applications (configuration)
• Capable to work under pressure
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Able to accommodate to various working and cultural environments
