Job overview:
• As an individual contributor in the rapidly expanding testing organization, the test engineer in responsible for segments of the planning, design, and execution of complex testing solutions (i.e., user acceptance testing, system, subsystem or interface testing); participates in client meetings; ensures that work products and deliverables are of the highest quality; and regularly interacts with internal and client teams
Key responsibilities and deliverables:
• Responsible for handle the BSS Ecosystem related Trouble Tickets. Determines the jurisdiction of the tickets, accepts the ticket, rejects the tickets and forwards the ticket to the responsible person or group.
• Participant all test design and execution, both manual and automated, for stories taken on for your team each sprint
• Participant engineering wide efforts to stay current for test automation frameworks, processes, and practices
• Design, develop, and maintain software that pushes the limits of components, business applications and other content based upon requirements from Group Leader
• Create and update test function libraries, test applications, test automation scripts and data files
• Work closely with your team to maximize overall testing impact and effectiveness
• Assist in training of other team members on quality assurance standards and processes

Key performance indicators To be defined in cooperation with the IT Quality Control team leader
Requirements:
• University or college degree preferable from Telecommunication/IT area
• Experience in system operation and maintenance of Red Hat Linux systems
• Experience in system operation and maintenance of MySQL systems
• Familiar with WEB middleware technologies, including the management of Tomcat, Jboss and other applications (configuration)
• Capable to work under pressure
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Able to accommodate to various working and cultural environments
Purpose
• Knowledge in Telecommunication, BSS experience is preferred.
• Experience with defect management tool and lifecycle management
• Scripting language knowledge such as Linux script, Perl
• Experience with technologies - JavaScript, HTTP, SOAP, APIs, Oracle/MySQL database
• Manual Testing capabilities; Test design & Execution, Exploratory test / E2E testing.
• Good communication and fast learner.
