Enterprise Architecture & Innovation
Vestas Group IT is Vestas' global IT function, which enables business value creation by providing world-class IT solutions to the entire Vestas organization. As the backbone to our everyday work life, IT provides improved data quality and work procedures to execute Vestas strategy and create real business value for our customers.
Enterprise Architecture & Innovation is a new department within Group IT and is comprised of 8 - 10 experienced IT and business consultants. EA&I acts as the advisor to the business for the purpose of generating process excellence powered by IT solutions. Together with key stakeholders we deliver targeted architecture, roadmaps, value assessments and solution designs for optimal business process value
Responsibilities and tasks - Lead the Supply Chain Management cornerstone of Vestas' IT structure
- Collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) to establish and accelerate best practice business strategy implementation
- Collaborate with business and IT solution architects to define, develop and communicate speedy, robust, value driven solutions for cross-functional business objectives
- Capture demand and maintain an overview of scope and business cases as they are refined
- Support prioritization and budgeting of business demands with a clear understanding of value, scope, impact and cost
- Research new technologies and develop potential scenarios that build on and enhance the existing landscape
- Establish target architectures, roadmaps, and decommissioning plans
Qualifications and work experience- Mastery of enterprise technology architecture with expertise in process management for global business
- Senior level understanding of business process re-engineering and/or process improvement
- Extensive experience in implementing Supply Chain Management systems, preferably SAP, covering forecasting and planning, logistics and transportation, sourcing and manufacturing
- Preferable experience in the aerospace or automotive industries with an emphasis on manufacturing, construction and service
- Ability to communicate technical information to and influence a wide and varied audience, from your own IT staff to senior executive management
- Advanced written and spoken English language skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
