The Enterprise Performance Management group focuses on providing Business Intelligence solutions that measure, analyze and optimize business performance across the organization. You will part of a team providing global solutions that will be broadly used at Danisco. We have a high demand for BI solutions and are looking for a BI Project Manager to be part of its success.
We are looking for an experienced project manager to work within the Business Intelligence area managing reporting solutions and data warehouse projects. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in BI, Reporting, and Process Development. We need an individual with the desire to learn new areas. You are able to lead BI Projects, participate as a member of a project team or work independently. You will be responsible for:
Project management leadership and overall success of BI solutions
Implementing new projects and enhancements to existing solutions and will be involved in: Project proposal and definition, Planning, scheduling, resources/cost tracking, and risk analysis
Full lifecycle management: business requirements and functional analysis, architecture and design activities, data modeling, ETL, interfacing with end-users on requirements gathering, design, build, test and deployment
Interfacing with users and communicating the status of projects and action items
Soliciting feedback to ensure satisfactory reporting solutions
Driving and participating in the development of BI strategies and plans
Proactively identify improvement areas and develop and drive appropriate solutions
You are a candidate with a proven track record of delivering SAP BI and Business Objects solutions, with attention to meeting targets, and the ability to deliver results under pressure. Strong skills in communicating and interfacing with end-users will be valuable in leading our Focus Groups. As we have a dynamic environment, agility will also be important. You must have excellent English written and verbal skills and be proficient in Danish. You should expect to travel no more than 20 percent of the time. You have the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science or related experience
some years of relevant work experience with SAP BI 3.5 / 7.x and Business Objects, ideally in a global environment
Experience managing at least three life-cycle projects in SAP BI or Business Objects, from concept to implementation
Knowledge of formal Project Management methodology such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK
Take complex concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying technical levels
Strong process knowledge of the Sales, Financial or Supply Chain Processes
Ability to manage, influence and lead people as well as manage conflicting interests and identify compromises
Excellent understanding of data modelling and architecture is essential
Technical expertise in BI Tools such as: SAP BI: BEX, Query Designer; BO; Web Intelligence, Dashboard Builder, Xcelsius, ABAP
It is a plus if you have knowledge of other tools such as SAP Integrated Planner and Visual Composer
