Role Overview
As an individual contributor in the rapidly expanding software configuration organization, the configuration engineer in responsible for segments of the planning, design, and execution of complex system deployment and configuration solutions (i.e., package deploy, patch deploy, environment and product configuration); participates in client meetings; ensures that work products and deliverables are of the highest quality; and to be system/product technical support for project delivery and operation.

Glimpse of Responsibility and Abilities
Ability to work in very dynamic environment & ready to support production/non-production Integration
Minimum 3 years experiences in Unix platform as an Integration Engineer
Installation, configuration and tuning of application servers. [Tomcat/Apache/Weblogic]
Deployment of build artifacts on middleware application servers (Weblogic/Tomcat)
Troubleshooting of Performance and Stability Issues
Support software environments, build, release, deployment and operational issues.
Patch upgrades for Application
Install and configure 3rd party software on application servers systems.
Configuration control of different software on the development, QA (testing) and production environments.
Troubleshoot ENV issues (middle tier/Unix)
Reporting of the states and performance of the server with respect to the applications Performance management.
Troubleshoot Red hat Linux/HP-UX/AIX/Sun-Solaris-based software installations.
Design and Implementation of Monitoring System for infra components.
Understand and compose technical diagrams and documentation.
Documentation of procedures and regular usage processes.
Experience in UNIX, KSH scripts.
Automation of the activities by using shell scripts.
Work on projects, tickets and the ongoing support activities to meet the SLA for the applications Requirements.
Requirements:
Able to take DBA on-call and production bridges.
Familiarity to Basic Java, Middleware, and networking concepts.
Exposure to Make, GIT and SVN would be added advantage.
