General Internship Information

Daily Tasks
You will be facilitating production processes and your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Working on a new brand: developing range, making samples, marketing tools, etc.
- Working on new product development ideas, sourcing and testing new products
- Working with an outside agency on Search Engine Optimisation
- Looking at and developing marketing tools, brochures, etc.
- Building potential client data base from files, business cards etc. in possession of the company
- Performing quality control inspections on site at factories around China as required
- Looking at Chinese domestic market and if there are any ways to penetrate it
- Writing new product specifications (in English) for the company’s factory
- Looking at the company’s current IT situation and looking for improvements: standardized documents, cloud systems, etc.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Desire to learn about international business development and textile related products
- Creative personality, ability to think out-of-the box
- Flexible
- Willing to learn
- Pro-active, coming up with new ideas and concepts

- Ability to take responsibility over tasks and make them your own
- Independent, ability to work without constant supervision

Company Description
This company is a manufacturer of luxury quilted products specializing in high quality fillings ranging from polyester through to cashmere. Their privately owned factory has been in existence for 8 years with the Directors having extensive experience in the textile industry. Originally set up to manufacture wool based products for the Australian market, the business has since developed and is now set up to make top quality products.
