Job Description:
NNE Pharmaplan Guangzhou, China is a new branch office of the world’s leading consulting and engineering company solely committed to the pharma and biotech industry. We design, procure, construct, commission and validate manufacturing facilities, according to cGMP, international and Chinese FDA regulations. We work in project teams. The team typically begins a project in the Guangzhou office and ends on site during the construction and validation phases. A project may last 1-2 years. After project completion the team will be assigned to a new project and the circle repeats itself. You will be assigned to a project team as HVAC Engineer.
Your main responsibilities are:
Project work in medium-sized to large projects, focusing on Detailed Design, Construction and Commissioning/ Qualification and working together with senior or lead engineers.
Solve tasks independently. Complexity according to experience.
Ensure changes to the scope of work are brought to the attention of the project management.
Ensure quality/review and compliance with codes and regulations of own work.
Review work of engineers in own discipline.
A close dialog with the Lead Ventilation Engineers and users concerning the project scope and customers requirements. To plan, execute, control, monitor and close the project according to the contract.
Ensuring good design quality output in compliance with relevant procedure and standards.
Tender preparation, evaluation of contractor/supplier quotations and contract negotiations.
Knowledge of Chinese local regulatory requirements and standards.
Cross disciplinary coordination, including site support.
Skilful usage of AutoCAD software.
Qualifications:
Education (certificates, courses)
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or similar.
Fluent in English, spoken and written.
Experience (professional experience)
Min 5 years of experience mostly within the discipline.
Some experience from the process, pharmaceutical, chemical or food industry is a requirement.
Project experience within one of these industries is a must. Manufacturing experience within these industries is rated equally to process engineer experience.
