SCO China Import Specialist (Case no 411)
For our subsidiary Novozymes (China) Biotechnology, located in TEDA, Tianjin, we wish to recruit an Import Specialist in in SCO China Process Optimization Centre. Import Specialist has an overall responsibility for inbound enzymes and non-enzymes (raw material, spare parts, equipment, samples, and strain for the production) delivery execution, ensuring reliable delivery to TEDA plant in cost-efficient way and in compliance with internal requirement and legal policies. Main responsibilities as below,
Import operation from receiving/checking documents to delivery for enzymes and non-enzymes including raw materials, spare parts, equipment, enzymes sample, strain, etc
Ensure services are delivered on agreed quality and lead time standard and response to service issues timely and proactively
Maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders to make sure the delivery service could meet internal requirements
Ensure all processes, transactions and business relationships are in accordance with policy, law and the highest of ethical standards.
Working closely with SARA/QM department to ensure all the work is done in compliance with internal requirements
Work with financial department on tax application and accrual process
Work with freight forwarder closely on the delivery plan to ensure ship on time, safety and cost in budget.
Finding improvement opportunities on the whole procedure and drive optimization
Implement ad-hoc tasks line manager assigned and all the approved projects.
You will report to China Process Optimization Centre Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, supply chain or equivalent.
At least 3 years working experience on import/export areas or logistics/Supply Chain
Fluent oral and written Chinese and English.
Good team player and result-oriented mindset
Good communication skill with internal and external stakeholders
High sense of responsibility and accuracy
