- Optimizing and customizing of the product range in the stores in China.
As Range Manager for China you are part of the purchasing team in JYSK Nordic. You report to the global purchasing director and your main responsibility is to optimize and customize the product range in the JYSK stores in China.
You are fully responsible for the complete range of products in the stores in China however the range must still emphasize the overall brand strategy for JYSK.
The main responsibilities are:
Analyse the market, the current product range and all key figures
Define and create a strong product management strategy in order to ensure a powerful and competitive product range for the JYSK stores
Close cooperation with the local management team, Sales & Marketing Coordinators, Product Managers and Purchasing director
Your skills within product management and purchasing are outstanding. You are a strong retailer with a full understanding of how important and powerful a competitive assortment is. You have some years of experience within retail from non-food or alternatively you are working for a supplier of products similar to the product range in the JYSK stores. Some international experience will be a plus; however, specific experience from the Chinese market is not necessary.
You have an analytic approach, are well structured and are a strong communicator. You have the ability to work in a complex and international organisation and have a good balance between proactivity and flexibility in handling tasks and in interaction with your colleagues both in Denmark and in the country you support. Furthermore you have drive, is resultoriented and get things done. In other words you are ready to make a diffence to create strong results!
