You are overall responsible
for managing currency, interest rate and commodity exposures of the ECCO Group. This newly created position is part of a 3-person Corporate Treasury team based at ECCO’s headquarter in Bredebro, Denmark, and will provide ongoing opportunities to be involved in a wide variety of other Corporate Treasury activities.
The ideal candidate should have:
• solid finance-related academic credentials
• many years’ relevant experience, preferably gained in the Treasury Department of a globally active corporate or financial institution
• hands-on experience with the implications of IAS hedge accounting.
The position will report to ECCO’s VP of Group Treasury, Tax and Risk Management, also based in Bredebro.
As Treasurer
you will entail frequent contact with ECCO’s production units and sales divisions across the globe, other HQ functions (e.g., centralized purchasing) and, of course, financial institutions. Whilst most work will be done in Denmark, some travelling is foreseen.
The working language is English, but knowledge of Danish or other languages will be considered favourably.
