The pharmaceutical industry is developing at a rapid pace and to maintain our world leading position, LEO Pharma is looking for a strategic and yet pragmatic person to manage our public affairs activities.

The position is newly established in LEO Pharma, and it will give you a unique opportunity to influence and shape the area and the way we approach our public affairs activities. The position will call for your ability to take initiatives and work under own direction in a high demand environment.


About the job
The Public Affairs area will be part of our new Health Outcomes area, and you will be joining a team of competent colleagues.

As Public Affairs Manager, you will be part of the functional area management team, and your key responsibility will be to coordinate our public affairs activities in all our markets. Furthermore, you will be expected to:
  • Influence stakeholders (e.g. payers, NGOs, etc.) to sustain and/or increase access for LEO Pharma products
  • Establish a long term influence on disease management
  • Influence national and international treatment guidelines
  • Establish a public affairs network within LEO Pharma
  • Secure experience sharing within public affairs activities between our affiliates
  • Coordinate input from our affiliates, Corporate Marketing, R&D, etc.
We offer you an exciting position in one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies within dermatology. The position is based at LEO Pharma's headquarters near Copenhagen, Denmark. You will cooperate closely with colleagues in our affiliates across the world as well as in our headquarters.


Your qualifications
The ideal candidate:
  • has a relevant degree
  • has at least 4-6 years of proven work experience within public affairs management
  • is flexible with respect to travelling (between 20-30 days annually).
On the professional level, you are a strategist who work under own directions and take responsibility for own actions and projects. Your analytical skills will help you to identify business opportunities and with your strong influencing skills you will gain commitment from the business and other stakeholders. On the personal level, you are a strong communicator who can set clear directions based on strategy. Furthermore, you are outgoing and comfortable with cooperating and communicating across educational, geographical and cultural boarders.
