VIA University College, the School of Technology and Business, is looking for a full time employee for our International Office to start up and develop our recruitment activities in Western European and overseas markets.
You will receive a limited project position starting 01.01.2014 and expiring 31.12.2014 but with the possibility of permanent employment. Due to the variety of recruitment activities, you should expect much travel.
At the School of Technology and Business, you will become a part of a large organisation with dedicated colleagues as well as a diverse and informal environment. About the job
Servicing, counseling and networking will be a great part of your job which includes:
Analyzing new markets for student recruitment in Western Europe and overseas countries such as China
Establishing contact with consultants placed on the new markets and administering their contracts
Developing and maintaining the consultant network
Coordinating and participating in recruitment activities, such as fairs and school visits, with focus on recruiting full degree students
Coordinating visits of potential students at the School of Technology and Business
Coordinating marketing material and plans
Measuring marketing campaign effectiveness
Coordinating activities, admission procedures and recruitment goals with the study programmes within the School of Technology and Business as well as with the International Office
Qualifications
We expectthat you:
Have an educational background within marketing and/or sale and preferably within Global Business Engineering or International Sales and Marketing Management
Are a very outgoing and social person that is able to open doors and gain access to new markets
Are well-structured, systematic and independent
Have strong language skills and can communicate in English at a professional levelboth orally and in writing and preferably also in German
Have knowledge about VIA University College, the School of Technology and Business, and its study programmes
Remuneration and terms of employment
Remunerationand terms of employment are based on current agreements including pension contribution.
