Company background
Bookatable.com is a multilingual international website that offers (free) real-time restaurant bookings. The site has grown surprisingly fast since the launch in early 2009, and is currently the biggest online restaurant booking site in several European markets. Due to the success and a major new investment - we are now looking to expand the team with several positions, while also boosting marketing and development. The aim is to be THE place to do restaurant bookings in Europe!

Job overview
This position will coordinate our development team (currently based in Sofia, Bulgaria) and take responsibility for the delivery of prioritised projects. The projects will range from developing entirely new products, enhancing existing products, testing of products in development, fixing bugs and handling the day to day support and maintenance of the site. This diverse range of products includes the actual website, widgets, mobile applications, partner integration systems and internal operational tools.

He/she will be the main interface between the development team and the rest of the company, and will work very closely with the Product Manager of Bookatable.com and the Chief Developers of the development team.

Success will be reflected in an efficient use of the development resources to deliver robust and scalable projects on time, while also securing a motivated and agile development team. The job will be to cover many projects running simultaneously, in different locations for different products. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and website production and who wants to create the THE destination for online restaurant bookings.

Due to the wide reach of the site the organisation of Bookatable.com is not tied to a single office location. The Project Manger Tech is expected to work from either the London, UK office or the Copenhagen, Denmark office. A certain amount of travel is a necessity.
