The Research Group of Associate Professor Martin R. Larsen at theDepartment of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the University ofSouthern Denmark, invites applications for a position as project leaderwithin the fields of clinical proteomics to be filled from 15thNovember 2009 or soon thereafter.
The project encompasses the development and application of massspectrometry based quantitative proteomics techniques to characterizepeptides originating from degradation of tissue specific proteins. Thesystem to be studied is the development of fibrosis.
Applications are sought from candidates with a PhD degree inbiochemistry, biotechnology, cell biology, or a related field anddocumented experience in protein biochemistry, mammalian cell biologyor functional proteomics. Applicants with an expertise in massspectrometry, 2D gel electrophoresis, affinity-enrichment techniques,bioinformatics and data management will be preferable.
The position is limited to 2 years' duration.
