About the Role and Responsibilities
McAfee has strong partner relationships to distribute PC and Mobile security software. We are looking for a dedicated candidate to directly work with our Partners in Shenzhen China
Main Responsibilities

This is a mid-senior position as it requires direct customer interaction and technical support for mobile area.

Main goals of the position will be to quickly learn the partner specific environments and streamline product delivery.

The candidate will also be a McAfee Mobile product expert, and be required to understand the products delivered at a functional level and work directly with Mobile Engineering to troubleshoot and remediate any issues.

Along with an assessment of the technical skills required, candidates will be assessed on their ability to effectively communicate with customers. Being able to manage the partner relationship through the ability to understand their requirements and direct communication is as essential as the required technical skills.

Activities include regular technical reviews with Partners, Product testing and onsite debugging of issues, delivering new releases, and bringing Partner specific projects into Engineering.

Responsible for software design, documentation, coding, debugging, and integration of embedded content security solutions for mobile platforms.

Propose, design and implement next generation security technologies based on specifications and customer requirements.

Assist in planning, scheduling, and assigning development projects.

Analyze customer requirements, propose and design, product features, and create functional specifications.
-
Performs any other related work as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
-
3 to 6 years of software development experience, Android application development
-
Object oriented programming experience and should have been using languages like C/C++, Java/C#,J2ME for more than 3 years

Linux OS development
-
Excellent programming skills, ability to apply design patterns to real problems

Solid Experience with Android
-
Understanding of Android internals
-
Solid understanding of Java Development
-
Design and develop client/UI applications for the various mobile operating systems
-
Strong background in full lifecycle of mobile app projects - architecture, development, testing, deployment and configuration of Android apps.

Experience in using source code version control like Sub Version.

Should be a strong team player.
-
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and respond to changing requirements and environment.

Candidate should have Under-Graduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. Graduate degree in a similar field would be an asset.

Must be able to read and write in technical/engineering English (Written communication with other engineers in English and be able to read technical documents in English)

Experience with Mobile Security products

Experience in modern software engineering processes like agile, test-driven development
-
Experience with Cloud infrastructure.

Experience with other mobile platform like iOS and windows 8 is a plus
