Dear citizen of Copenhagen
We hereby invite you to participate in a performing arts project 100% Copenhagen, by one of today's most acclaimed theatre companies Rimini Protokoll (www.rimini-protokoll.de).
"100% Copenhagen" is about finding 100 people who represent the citizens of Copenhagen statistically, and showing the stories and people behind the numbers.
The cast is 100 'ordinary' locals who best represent the residential combination of Copenhagen, from statistical parameters such as age, gender, geography, ethnicity, marital- and socioeconomic status. Through a chain reaction the residents of Copenhagen will select the next participant, until a representative group of 100 is found.
As a participant in 100% Copenhagen you will be interviewed as soon as possible about your relation to Copenhagen, and who you are as a person. We’ll also shoot a portrait of you in your home to print in the catalogue! When all 100 citizens are found, Rimini Protokoll arrives in Copenhagen and stages the performance based on the performers' stories and current topics on Copenhagen.
During the show, you must present yourself and possibly talk about a topic that concerns you, pose a question or similar. In addition, you will be part of various statistical studies 'live', where you and the other performers move around in different groups on stage. We do not expect you to have any performer skills! It is important that you behave as yourself and your "role" will only involve a few sequences. The performance has so far been produced in nine different cities around the world, including Berlin, London and Melbourne. It is part of the Copenhagen International Performance and arts Festival Metropolis (www.kit.dk), which presents about 20 Danish and international productions in august, all focused on Copenhagen and it’s citizens. The opening night for "100% Copenhagen" will be on the 7th of August at The Royal Theatre, Skuespilhuset.
If you decide to participate, it is important that you can show up at all the rehearsal days and performance nights:

The 27th & 28th of July at 14-19 pm
The 1st of August at 9-18 pm (individually schedule rehearsal with RP)
The 3rd of August at 9-16 pm
The 4th of August at14 to 19 pm
The 6th of August at 19-23 pm

The 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th of August at 19-23 pm
We will cover your expenses such as transportation, food and drinks, and if you have specific costs associated with your participation, we can talk about it.
If you would like to become one of the 100 performers we will arrange a meeting between you and one of our researchers. The meeting can optimally take place on weekdays before 19.00. Evening and weekend meetings can be arranged if necessary.
Preparatory for the meeting, we would like for you to try and find the next participant you would recommend.
