The Trade Council (TC) is fully integrated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. TC assists and promotes Danish companies’ interests in China. TC consists of 7 different industry teams with around 60 employees in 5 different locations in China. The Energy & Environment Team consist of 14 employees (part and full time). You will be working closely with colleagues in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing. We offer a challenging work environment where you need to combine independent work with a high degree of team-work.

• Events, Promotions and Visit Programs

Job Description
You will provide first-rate consultancy services for Danish enterprises with focus on sustaining the good governmental and commercial relations between Denmark and China. Your work will include:
• Developing ideas and presenting consultancy proposals to Danish companies within the above mentioned service areas
• Analysis of commercial opportunities
• Planning and execution of projects in relation to the Trade Council’s and the Embassy’s public service obligations as well as the Trade Council’s commercial goals
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic team player with an eye for quality and efficiency in your daily work. Furthermore you should have:
• Experience and a strong network in one or more Clean Tech / Renewables sectors (Wind, Solar, Bio Energy and Smart Grid)
• Experience in selling or executing advisory services
• Strong commercial sense and experience in working with foreign enterprises
• Experience from privately owned companies or organisations is an advantage
• Experience working with Chinese officials is an advantage
• International experience from studies or work abroad
• Relevant Master’s Degree preferably in engineering or another relevant technical background
• Good communication and sales skills
• Excellent, even flawless, command of Mandarin and English both oral and written
• Structured approach to new tasks, the ability to multitask and solid IT skills
• Creative, self-motivated and independent by nature
We expect an increased demand for our services in this area due to the fact that Denmark has substantial technologies and knowhow in the Clean Tech /Renewables sectors.
