Fiscal Metering Engineer
DONG E&P is seeking anexperienced and qualified person for the position as Fiscal MeteringEngineer. The position is placed in our Production Operations &Services department at our new offices in Nærum.
DONG E&Pconducts activities within exploration and production (E&P) of oiland gas, primarily in Denmark, Norway, the UK and the Faeroes. DONGE&P Production Operations is responsible for production operationson our operated producing assets within DONG E&P. Further weprovide recommendations and inputs to non operated assets andopportunities within our growing portfolio of production operations.
The position:
AsFiscal Metering Engineer, you will be involved with a wide variety ofactivities within operations, maintenance, development of oil, gas andwater measurement systems and the instruments and meters related tothese.
You will not only be responsible for that the above mentionedis in place and working but also to handle the contact with theauthorities and our vendors/suppliers including the legal obligationsif required.
You must have the capacity for both independent work, working in teams and to work in a energetic supporting environment.
You will have direct reference to the Chief Metering Engineer within Production Services.
Work tasks:
Youwill be working within the Production Operations Function to assist andadvise on metering operations within DONG E&P's Danish operations.Your focus is to at all times secure an economically and wellmaintained operation and to manage all the different contractualmatters in place and mobilizing suppliers in due time for plannedmaintenance.
In addition, you will amongst other be responsible for/capable of:
Support the offshore installations with elimination of errors within the measurement systems.
Quality control of ther work done by suppliers
Making sure that proper documentation is in place at all times and are kept updated.
Ensure that the quality is in place regarding production data from the wells, fields and platforms.
Drive innovation in regards to development and implementation of new measurement methods.
Qualifications:
We expect that you:
Have a Bachelor of Science in engineering or higher. Relevantexperience from the E&P industry can compensate for formal education
Knowledge in metering/mechanical/process/instrumentation engineering
Offshore operational oil and gas experience is preferred
Knowledge of Danish offshore rules and regulations
Knowledge of other North Sea countries' rules and regulations preferable.
Have an analytical and well structured approach to your work.
Have excellent communication skills, and work well within multi skilled teams
Are fluent in written and spoken English
Good negotiation skills and solid business understanding
