Carlsberg Group Procurement is currently looking for a Group Lead Buyer to join the Group Procurement team in Copenhagen. Group Procurement is responsible for the procurement of both materials used for our production (direct procurement) and the non-material costs such as marketing, services, IT, CAPEX, etc. (indirect procurement). The department is divided into 4 main categories each responsible for developing and implementing category strategies within the Carlsberg Group. The Group Procurement organization reports to the CFO and works closely with a range of internal stakeholders such as supply chain, marketing, HR and legal department.
Develop and implement procurement strategies within the MRO category
As a Group Lead Buyer - MRO/Energy you will be a part of the Operations Department within Group Procurement and responsible for developing and implementing MRO & Energy procurement strategies in the Carlsberg Group as well as supporting current business activities.
You will be the commercial expert optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership and security of supply for Carlsberg Breweries within the procurement of MRO & Energy. One of the key areas is to further develop, formulate and implement Energy procurement strategies at a group level.
You will be working closely with key stakeholders such as Group Supply, Treasury, local production organizations, Group Legal and the regional and local procurement organizations.
You will act as commercial project coordinator on international and cross functional MRO & Energy projects. You will be the main driver on creating spend insight on group level and transparency across markets on cost and profitability. You will be responsible for reporting and sharing findings, and transferring best practice experiences across the group. You will identify, drive and support local, regional and global sourcing projects & opportunities, as well as lead large negotiations with key suppliers.
The position is expected to create significant cost savings for Carlsberg Breweries A/S. The Group Lead Buyer will work closely with the category manager, regional lead buyers as well as internal and external key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should posses below qualifications:
Education:
A higher analytical and commercial background
Language:
Fluent in English (spoken and written)- Other language skills (spoken) will be considered as a plus
Experience:
- International procurement background within procurement of MRO and MRO related services
- Min. 3 years relevant commercial experience within all aspects of strategic and tactical procurement on regional or global level.
- Trading with commodities, preferably within the energy sector
- Knowledge of financial instruments and analytical tools
- Experience within project management projects
- Candidate with international working experience is preferred

- Ability to work cross functionally in project work and project management
- High degree of IT literacy
