Department
The Product Quality and NDT Department at Vestas Towers A/S in Varde islooking for a NDT Level III technician to join our team. As part of ourNDT department you will be responsible to ensure a high level ofcompetence in terms of NDT Level III, in order to facilitate andsupport all relevant Vestas and sub supplier activities.
Responsibilities and Tasks
As a NDT Level III technician you will be performing audits atsuppliers and perform training and education of NDT inspectors, to makesure that the product quality will be in line with the elaboratedspecifications. Furthermore you will have the following tasks:
• Perform audits of NDT procedures
• Performing dimensional inspection of flanges
• Developing new NDT methods
• Perform audit of as-built documentation
Qualifications and Work Experience
The position requires that you have relevant training and education asNDT Level III technician (VT, MT and UT). Furthermore we expect thatyou have the following qualifications.
• Education as blacksmith or similar and knowledge about welding and steel
• Fluent in English both verbal and in writing
• Good drawing interpretation skills
Desired but not needed qualifications and work experience:
• Knowledge about paint
• Handle and support of Easy Laser measuring system
• Lead auditor ISO 9001
• Experience from tower production or similar

Additional Information
Primary workplace is at Vestas Towers A/S - Varde in Denmark, but you must expect around 125 travelling days each year.
