Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD scholarship in cluster development at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management, University of Southern Denmark in Kolding.
The position is targeted at the main research areas of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management, and is situated within the Marketing research group. The research of the department is traditionally carried by a business-economy behavioral paradigm, a fundamental procedural view on organization and management processes and prioritization of research subjects related to development-oriented companies.
The department wishes to explore the management and coordination aspects of cluster development through the PhD scholar ship.
The purpose of the PhD project is to create new knowledge regarding the role that cluster facilitators play in the development of business clusters.
We kindly ask the applicant for the position to forward a project description, in which it is described how the applicant intends to research this area in relation to one or more of the below-mentioned themes:
• Cluster facilitators as a driving force for cluster development.
• Cluster facilitators and their interaction with political agents.
• Cluster facilitators between public and private operators.
• Cluster facilitators as coordinators in a cluster.
