Clinical Operations, Future Insulin is looking for a candidate to join us working as Clinical Trial Administrator in our fast growing department. We are responsible for planning and conducting clinical trials within the diabetes area, in close collaboration with Novo Nordisk affiliates all over the world.
The Clinical Trial Administrator has influence on department, project and hence Novo Nordisk results, since each clinical trial is a unique contribution to the successful marketing of Novo Nordisk products. Each clinical trial must be conducted according to agreed targets for time, cost, and quality in order to ensure approval of Novo Nordisk products. As Clinical Trial Administrator you will assist one or more International Trial Managers, who will be overall responsible for a clinical trial. You will also be an integrated team member within the international group managing the clinical trial. The Clinical Trial Administrator is an entry level position into pharmaceutical development. The Clinical Trial Administrator has a significant role in supporting the trial planning and execution by conducting trial related tasks in a proactive and independent manner.
Challenges
Your work will include support in meeting planning and execution of monitor and investigator meetings as well as study group meetings; Take meeting minutes and help create presentations on ad hoc basis. Coordinate website and newsletters as applicable; Prepare and monitor Clinical Trials budgets and report status as requested; Act as coordinator for the clinical team as applicable, e.g. in establishment of trial master files according to Novo Nordisk standards, prepare and maintain trial documents and files, compile and archive in the various Novo Nordisk systems; Support trial tasks according to trial status, project need and own competency level.
Qualifications
You have a BA with English as major or equivalent, or a BA in Natural Science with physiology or equivalent to level of registered nurse. You should have a minimum of administrative experience, preferably from a position within the pharmaceutical industry. Naturally you perform the coordinating functions in a team set-up. Your role will be outgoing and collaborative and will require professional networking capabilities as well as being comfortable presenting for a smaller forum occasionally. You have experience in handling international business relations. Solid IT-knowledge is required e.g. experienced user of MS Office and you are motivated to learn new IT systems. You are an excellent team player, who is able to work structured also under time pressure. Last but not least, you have a good sense of humour.
