Vacancy as a guestteacher for 18 weeks, in an international Danish Folk High School, with students and staff from all over the world. Working language: English.
The subjects to be taught are: "Cross-cultural behavior", "English Language for Japanese students", and "Sports".
Experience as a Folk High School teacher is required and the teacher has to live on campus.
IPC is a residential college and obligations as a teacher includes taking part in the social life in the college and supporting the international students. We have a high number of students from Asia, especially from Japan. Therefore it is important that you have a broad understanding of the differences between Western and Eastern cultures, based on practical experiences from travelling and international teaching experiences
