The newly established Supply & Cost Management department is in the process of centralizing and professionalizing the cost management and sourcing of Maersk Line IT. We manage and optimize a multi-million USD budget covering the conglomerate IT infrastructure as well as Maersk Line´s IT systems, and all shared contracts.
Optimizing Global Multi-vendor Landscape
You will have the responsibility of leading large-scale complex sourcing projects with negotiations at various levels. Moreover, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our global multi-vendor contract landscape.
Based on the needs of the business units you will be responsible for your own supplier and contract portfolio; lead sourcing, set up commercial terms, monitor contracts and ensure constant improvement of terms and conditions in compliance with legal and finance guidelines. In specific situations you will participate in development projects. Through this and by analyzing usage and forecasts you will investigate optimization opportunities and ensure right-shoring, specification management, demand management, and source.
Professional Procurement/Category Manager
We are looking for skilled and driven professionals with years of solid sourcing or procurement- and vendor management experience. You have independently executed projects in a complex stakeholder landscape and proven your worth as a competent negotiator with strong communication and analytical skills. Specific subject matter experience within IT service outsourcing and in procurement of IT-consultants, software and infrastructure is an advantage. In addition, we appreciate if you have an advanced degree in administration, economics, finance, IT or law.
