Department
In the 2-year Vestas Graduate Programme, you will work for different business units in different locations. You will be assigned a mentor and will naturally report to an everyday manager in each module. The Programme is aiming at utilizing your solid theoretical foundation and developing your skills and competences for a future global career with Vestas.
The September 2010 intake offers 14 different Graduate Tracks within different functional areas.
Track 1 - Technology - EU
Track 2 - Technology - EU & India
Track 3 - Service & Operations - EU, USA & China
Track 4 - Supply Chain Management (Sourcing) - EU
Track 5 - Supply Chain Management (Logistics & Planning) - EU
Track 6 - Construction - EU
Track 7 - Quality & Production Engineering - EU & USA
Track 8 - Production Engineering Technology - EU & China
Track 9 - Service - EU & China
Track 10 - Key Account Management - EU & Singapore
Track 11 - Market Intelligence - EU, USA & Singapore
Track 12 - Finance - EU & USA
Track 13 - People & Culture - EU & USA
Track 14 - Sustainability (CSR) - EU
Each Track is made up of 3 modules in 3 different locations. You will spend 8 months at each location to build up your competence from an international perspective.

The mentioned locations may be subject to change based on organizational changes during the two years.
Qualifications and Work Experience
You have recently graduated or will soon graduate with a Master’s Degree relevant to the track(s) you wish to apply for. You have strong academic results and you combine practical understanding with commercial and strategic flair. In addition we are looking for the following personal qualifications:
• You have the ability to work independently in a changeable environment, and at the same time you enjoy working with other people and build up global networks.
• You have a strong desire for working in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment in the years to come.
• You possess drive and winner mentality and it is important for you to achieve results by a persistent, analytical and structured effort.
• Your working style is characterized by the ability to prioritize, focus on quality and keeping deadlines.
• You have international experience from work, internship or stays abroad, and you are highly mobile.
• You are interested in building a global mindset and are proficient in spoken and written English.
Additional Information
The Vestas Graduate Team S10 will start 1st of September 2010.
You can only apply for Tracks that include a country, where you hold a valid work and residence permit (not applicable for Europeans inside Europe). In order to be assessed for a Graduate position, you need to upload the following documents in English for each Track you want to apply for:
• Cover letter (If you wish to apply for more than one Track, please upload a cover letter for each Track)
• CV/resume listing your experiences and competences
• Transcripts showing your Bachelor’s and Master’s degree results. If you have not yet finished your Master’s degree, please attach the results you have obtained so far. All documents must be in English.
• Answers to the following questions (max. 500 words in total):
o Describe your greatest achievement, and what made you succeed?
o What quality do you like least about yourself, and what have you done to improve this area?
o What has been the biggest obstacle you had to overcome, what impact did it have on you, how did you solve the situation and what did you learn from it?
